A team of archeologists from the Museum of London have found what they believe to be Shakespeare’s first theatre, in Shoreditch, possibly the site of the premiere of Romeo and Juliet, they have told the BBC. The remnants of the theatre were uncovered in the summer of 2008, but parts of it may lie under a housing project.
