I burst out laughing when I saw CNN’s lead story headline this morning:

Hilton opens up on drugs, jail and God

Headlines have always been about grabbing the reader’s attention – think of those screaming sandwich boards on American and European city streets more than 100 years ago, with boys calling them out for those who couldn’t read.
