It escaped my notice, and I don’t think I’m alone in this, that swissinfo, which grew out of Swiss Radio International, is doing radio again. I tripped over its quiet little press release from 7 October entirely by accident this week and was startled to read that it has picked up where it left off, but instead of live radio broadcasts it appears to be doing weekly podcasts now. So if you’re reading this from OUTSIDE Switzerland visit the podcast because swissinfo is SSR’s English arm for people who are not in Switzerland.

Those of us who are in Switzerland get news a bit more regularly, thank goodness, on WRS, the branch of SSR for people INSIDE the country.

Got that? Swissinfo’s new-look website is a nice improvement, by the way.
