When the Geneva Motor Show is on, Switzerland is filled with cars going the wrong way to Geneva.
It’s especially disconcerting when you’re driving along the autoroute on Monday morning and hundreds of cars stream past you, going one way but facing the other. The train gets them to Geneva a lot faster than the autoroute, which gets jammed up with people visiting the car show. Plenty of time to reflect on this, sitting in a car.
