Photos: There’s a cat in that window.

Tuesday was cold and snowy nearly everywhere in the Lake Geneva region and I was out with my camera, mostly shooting snowy shots.

I was curious if the snow was still at lake level, so walked around St Prex to investigate. Rooftops had snow, but in the centre of the village it looked more like Spring. A fat sleepy cat staring out a window from his warm cozy spot surely had a very different impression of the world and I headed back to the office reflecting on how windows and our views from either side have an impact on our view of life.

This morning I found this on Slate, the online magazine of the Washington Post. It’s a collection of images of windows from around the world, shot by photographers from Magnum, an international photo agency with a long and rich reputation.
