Easter too close to the February ski holidays, France taking school holidays after Easter: this is a year when for two months, mid-February to mid-April, everyone seems to be traveling somewhere, some of the time. If you’re one of the worker bees you have to find your travel pleasure where you can. In my case it was the magnificence of a Valais sky during an exceptional weekday drive near Sion Monday. I took my daughter to a fair Saturday where we enjoyed the bumper cars. Driving past Sion two days later it occurred to me that the clouds were playing bumper cars with the peaks, getting their fun where they can.
