You watch CNN, the BBC and look at all the big sites and you’re bound to think you’ve seen what’s going on in Minnesota, home to the Republican Convention this week. Not so. Check out the photo gallery on another online community newspaper, MinnPost for a well-done down-home look at the convention. This is the (generally liberal, Democratic) Minneapolis and St Paul I remember from my university and early work days. Among the protestors, my favorites are the jailbirds: check ‘em out! Or the guy carrying a "we are forever in your debt" sign.
