For those who didn’t buy into Bernie Madoff’s airy investments, the explanations about what a Ponzi scheme is can be a little baffling. National Public Radio has just come to the rescue with an explanation we can all understand. Remember the school lunchroom economy? This delightful tale of third-grade transgressions has me wondering what Madoff ate for lunch as a kid.
