Garden ::

Wednesday, 1 August, was so wonderfully mild and sunny that I was worried about leaving new plants unattended. They might need water, I thought, and worried about asking non-gardeners to do the job while I returned to my office.
And then along came a storm.
I saw the sun rise and then I looked up the mountainside and thought, uh-oh.
A few minutes later, the storm took over.
No need to water the garden today.
