Geneva, Switzerland – If you’re a museum buff, or simply want to keep up with the many temporary exhibits in the city museums then this is a good resource for you: the ExpoPass.

In Geneva the entry to permanent collections in all of the municipal museums (14 in total) is free of charge while the entry to temporary exhibitions is free of charge the first Sunday of the month.

The ExpoPass covers the gap between the two options before.

In other words save money but don’t wait until Sunday next month to see the temporary exhibit you have been wanting to see.

Twenty francs per year will give you unlimited access to all of the exhibits at the Art and History Museum, the Rath and Ariana museums, the Maison Tavel and the Cabinet des Estampes.

The pass is valid during the calendar year only. Catherine Terzaghi, Communications Officer at the Art and History Museum says the 2010 ExpoPass will be on sale in mid-December. In time to give them as Christmas presents, she told us.

The Expo Pass gives users a 20% discount at La Comedie theater which means this is one of those good Geneva deals you can’t miss out on.

Vive la culture!
