Fashionistas waited in line for a glimpse of the collection during Geneva's Nuit de Bains

Geneva, Switzerland - The Swiss lifestyle magazine Edelweiss kicked off on 16 September a four-day fashion extravaganza featuring this and next season’s jewelry and clothing collections at the trendy and quaint Tiffany Hotel.

Each room at the Tiffany hotel, and two galleries at the Quartier de Bains, Uniquement Votre and Alternative Brand Communication, serve as showrooms where 40 designers meet the fashionistas and sell their creations.

Several boutiques are also part of the show including four that will extraordinarily open on Sunday 19 September: Ma Vie sur Mars, Notting Hill, Un Jour ou l’Autre and Whisper.

There are some interesting fashion concepts such as Charlotte Désiré’s Winter 2011 collection which uses new fabrics and second-hand clothes. Désiré’s is part of a group of jewelry and fashion design students from Geneva’s University of Art and Design, HEAD, showcasing their work.

Entrance is free.

Schedule:

  • Friday 17 September 14:00 to 19:00
  • Saturday 18 September 12:00 to 20:00
  • Sunday 19 September 12:00 to 16:00.

Two aftershows (or parties) in connection with this fashion extravaganza take place at Mad Geneva on 17 and 18 September.
