He passed Jimmy Connors to a record 234th Grand Slam victory, and also became the first player to win 50 matches at each of the four Grand Slam tournaments. The favourites in the men’s draw continued their progress with wins for Novak Djokovic, and Rafael Nadal. Andy Murray plays today.
